An opportunity for everyone in or around Bentley, Binsted and Froyle to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
Alpha is for anyone – sceptics, enquirers, and believers alike. Each session starts with food followed by a talk and discussion in small groups. The one rule is that there is no question you cannot ask!
Over the course several key issues are discussed including:
- Who is Jesus?
- Is the Bible reliable?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why did Jesus die?
- Why and how should I pray?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- How can I make the most of my life?

What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in an informal, fun and friendly environment. The Alpha course consists of a series of talks, looking at topics including 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?', with the option of a Saturday away day. We meet for supper and each talk is followed by discussion in small groups.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
