At a Benefice level there are a number of opportunities for the young to participate outside of service times.
Youth Alpha is a weekly course designed to introduce the basis of the Christian faith to young people. We run it throughout the autumn term every other year on a Friday evening to include supper. We suggest it is suitable for Years 8 (Age 12) and above.
Each week follows a programme to cover 13 different subjects following published course material adapted and delivered by 3 leaders. We include an extended teaching time with a night away to cover the subject and experience of the Holy Spirit as well as team building and challenging activities.
Please email Pippa Blizzard (email@example.com) to register your interest.
Upagear is a study group suitable for approx 13-18 year olds with a prior basic understanding of the Christian faith. We meet on alternate Fridays during term time from 5.30 to 7.00 p.m. at the Memorial Hall. Please see our Facebook page - Benbinfro Youth - for this term's dates.
It serves well as a follow on group from youth Alpha. We discuss and use the bible to study a variety of aspects of the Christian faith. We pray together, share experiences as young Christians; take part in worship events both in and out of the benefice as well as going away together on summer conference.

Kickstart is the youth outreach from the churches of Bentley, Binsted and Froyle. We meet from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. every other Sunday in Bentley Memorial Hall during term time.
The group is designed for children from Year 6 (Age 10) upwards. The leaders that are involved in running Kickstart are members of the church and we pray at the start and end of each meeting and often include a small amount of bible based interactive discussion. The young people enjoy participating in silly games, art, crafts and drama. Other fun trips and activities are organised from time to time throughout the year. All are welcome, including those from other schools or friends visiting for the evening. We aim to provide a bridge between primary and secondary school.
We also have a games room with table tennis, table football and air hockey for chill out time at the beginning and half way through the evening, during the refreshments break. We ask you for a donation of £1 each meeting. (There is no cost if unable to attend).
